Job Title: Technical Service Engineer - Polymers

Reports to: Technical Director 

Location: Kolo, Poland

Our client is a long-established and widely-recognised supplier of polymers for the rotational moulding industry serving an international client base. They have seen record growth over the last 4 years and are currently operating from five manufacturing plants located in the UK, Poland, Australasia and Malaysia. With ambitious growth plans for the future, the commitment, drive and passion of their employees is key to their success.

Duties

• Maintain and develop working relationships with customers and the commercial team by providing technical support

• Assist customers at their premises by promoting material technical solutions and implementing them

• Run trials at our premises or at customers

• Assistance with any issues following the trials

• Contribute to technical activities by supporting new product development introduction to the market

• Running mechanical and physical tests in the lab

• Organize, plan and run training courses at the Technical Centre and customer premises

• Implement and introduce new materials in the field and help moulders to understand how to use them

• Write, approve and maintain the bill of materials

• Attend and present at conferences in UK and EU

• Help customers by using troubleshooting skills in resolving their problems

• Maintain high Health & Safety standards

• Write technical reports for a non-technical audience, and provide customers with Information & Documentation

Person

• Qualified Engineer preferably in Chemistry or Polymer Science.

• Fluent in English

• Hands-on approach

• Happy to travel across EU (up to 50%)

• Able to present at conferences

• Smooth operator and great communicator

• Humbleness, Curiosity, Politeness and Attention to details are necessary trait of personality
